I just got a new blu-ray player for my house and love it. I watch it on my 45″ samsung LCD HDTV which is running 1080p. Movies look great and I can’t wait now to get the suround sound system. Samsung is the way to go for me what do you like?

This is a great article on the different types of hockey sticks that are out there on the market for players to choose from. I have a child that has been playing ice hockey for about 5 years now and we have been through them all. The only bad thing is that once your child gets good at the game they want the better sticks. I have spent as much as $195.00 on a brand new stick. That is hard to handle when there is a chance that the stick will break in half at any time. But I keep doing it.
Again, very nice article on the types of hockey sticks.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the article on bamboo fly rods. I’ve been fly fishing for 20 years, off and on, but I’ve never tried a bamboo fly rod. I will have to try to get one in my hands to see how big the difference is between bamboo and the graphite/fiberglass rods that I have used. I have noticed that the bamboo rods can be very pricey…I’ve seen them sell as high as $14,000…ouch. I don’t think I’m a good enough angler to notice the difference, though.

The Nintendo DS Lite is a great system but probably not ideal for younger, preschool aged children, who may find the games a little frustrating. A better solution for preschool children is the Leapfrog Leapster 2 Learning Game System, like the DS it’s a handheld system with a touchscreen that is operated with a stylus. Leapster games are much easier for young children to play and have the added benefit of being educational. Once they have mastered the Leapster they can move onto a DS Lite.
