Radio Shack
An electronics retailer, Radio Shack has an international reputation that covers six continents: North and South America, Europe, Australia and Africa. Figures indicate that in 2003, there were six thousand stores only in the United States with profit of more than two billion dollars. Over the years, there were ups and downs in the business evolution with stores being closed and reopened several times in the attempt to focus on the United States locations more. Radio Shack Corporation used to be known under the name of Tandy Corporation but after very complex circumstances the two business giants parted their ways. Represented on the Internet too, Radio Shack faces the impact of the world financial crisis and the sales decrease.
